Coach Deviner McCray
Deviner’s pitching career established him as one of Georgia’s top arms, earning recognition as the #12 pitcher in the state of Georgia and the 7-A Region Pitcher of the Year. He began his college career at Gulf Coast State College, where he became the single-season and career record holder and was named the 2016 D1 JU

Deviner’s pitching career established him as one of Georgia’s top arms, earning recognition as the #12 pitcher in the state of Georgia and the 7-A Region Pitcher of the Year. He began his college career at Gulf Coast State College, where he became the single-season and career record holder and was named the 2016 D1 JUCO Fireman of the Year and Florida’s top closer for his dominant late-inning performances.
His success led to a Division I commitment to Kennesaw State University, where he continued his development at the highest collegiate level from 2016–2019.
Today, Deviner uses his experience, knowledge, and passion for pitching development to train the next generation of elite arms. Through advanced mechanics breakdowns, arm-care systems, velocity development, and individualized programming, Ace Performance is committed to helping every athlete reach their full potential — on and off the mound.

Coach Jake Freedman
Jake Freedman is the co-owner of Ace Performance and a highly respected pitching coach known for his attention to detail, competitiveness, and ability to develop pitchers at every level. Jake brings a high-level playing background and coaching experience that strengthens the foundation of Ace Performance.

Jake Freedman is the co-owner of Ace Performance and a highly respected pitching coach known for his attention to detail, competitiveness, and ability to develop pitchers at every level. Jake brings a high-level playing background and coaching experience that strengthens the foundation of Ace Performance.
A standout Georgia arm, Jake was ranked the #40 pitcher in the state and earned a scholarship to pitch at Augusta University, one of the top Division II programs in the region. During his time in travel ball, he competed on a Top-16 nationally ranked team, showcasing his ability to perform and lead on elite stages.
Before moving to the college level, Jake was a three-year letterman at Denmark High School, where he established himself as a dependable, high-IQ competitor on the mound. Today, he carries that same passion into player development as a USA Scout Baseball Pitching Coach and Instructor, helping young pitchers sharpen their mechanics, build confidence, and elevate their game.
Jake’s experience, professionalism, and commitment to development make him an essential part of Ace Performance. Together, he and Deviner McCray are building a program that sets a new standard for pitching excellence.
